What’s Your Pain? Let’s Treat It!

Musculoskeletal pain

Musculoskeletal pain

We treat musculoskeletal pain through several different modes: 1). Pain medication for acute musculoskeletal pain is prescribed by the medical doctor. 2). Chiropractic care is given to address the muscle, ligament and spinal conditions. 3). Alternative physical therapy and massage therapy treatments are provided to patients.

Nerve Pain

Nerve Pain

Depending on the type of nerve pain, we will prescribe different treatment protocols. Acute nerve pain is addressed using pain medications, chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy. Chronic nerve pain is treated with a different class of medications, chiropractic adjustment, electrical therapy, physical therapy and possibly massage therapy.

Arm / Shoulder Pain

Arm / Shoulder Pain

Shoulder and arm pain often are caused by nerve irritation. (See Nerve Pain section). However, it’s possible that the shoulder joint is the cause of the pain. In this case, the pain is typically addressed using chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy along with electrical therapy if necessary.

Often a result of improper lifting or overexertion when lifting, these injuries are first evaluated by a chiropractor to determine spinal stability. The chiropractor will adjust and direct physical realities to stabilize the spine. A massage therapist will perform such therapy to relax the tissue. Additionally, a medical doctor will often prescribe pain medication.

Whiplash / Auto Injuries

Work Injuries

Work Injuries

During our “Work Evaluation” each patient will be cared for by both our medical doctor and chiropractors. The medical doctor often prescribes medication needed and the chiropractor directs the physical component of the care.
